So, Mark Gatiss went to Japan and wrote an article about his trip. As if I needed yet another reason to love him. Sigh.

The picture taken at the Fushimi shrine is now my desktop wallpaper. And I squealed when I saw the photo of him standing in front of the Golden Pavilion temple: last December schwimmerin sent me a postcard from Kyoto with the same temple on

See, I planned that in advance, obviously. ;) (We went to Fushimi Inari too! I mainly wanted to go there not only because it looked beautiful, but for my own fangirly reasons - FU has a lovely picture of it on one of his photography websites.)

Sorry it took me so long to reply about the postcard, this week has been nuts! I'm so happy it got there in the end, I was just about to pick out another Japanese postcard to send you from the US XD
