Lucky you, Mouse! Not sure what your Mazzei connection is, but delighted to hear you may score on the occasion of a Sherlock viewing.

Also, you're lucky to be in the UK and get the NEW episodes, including Sign of Three, whilst we colonials must make do with the Baskervilles -- and, of course, with our home-grown Sherlock series called (with a certain aplomb) Elementary. One charm of the latter is, of course, Lucy Liu as Watson -- a twist on old Conan Doyle that is working out quite creatively.

Amusingly, BOTH happened to be on TV last evening, the Cumberbatch version on our Public Broadcasting System (PBS) and Jonny Miller in Elementary on a commercial channel (ABC?). Whether this is happenstance or design (ABC or PBS deciding to go up against the rival on the same evenings -- I presume they'll continue) is unknown to me...

Well, I'm not in the UK at the moment, but I was still able to watch the first two episodes. And I loved them! Season 3 will arrive in the States soon, though, you just need to be patient for a little longer. :)

Also, I was invited by one of my best friends to spend "a torrid Friday evening on the couch rewatching Sherlock". How could I refuse?

ha! when it's put that way, I wouldn't refuse either

She did use the word "torrid". XD It was a hilarious night, first Sherlock, then The IT Crowd, we laughed SO much.
