Life is too short

I've just found out a friend of mine, a girl I met in work, has passed away after being hit by a car while on holiday in Spain....I'm in shock

Thank you :) Still in shock and it hasn't completely sunk in yet but thankfully my last memory of her is her joking and smiling.

What a terrible shock! I'm sorry you have lost such a dear person. May your memory of her always be that lovely smile.

Thank you :) I'm still trying to comprehend that I'll never see her smile in real life again but the last vivid memory I have of her is her smiling and joking around on our last shift together before she left for her holiday and she was saying that maybe she should stand behind the door in the changing room and let it smack her when someone came in so she wouldn't have to work that day. Thankfully she was always smiling so at least I can remember her smile.

Thank you :) At least I can always look back and remember her smile...I really feel for her family, especially her father considering he escaped unhurt while his daughter got hit. I've seen my reaction, the reaction of her friends and how numb everyone is so I just can't imagine how her family are right now. My last memory of her is her smiling, but every memory of her is her smiling, so I will miss that smile.
