One of my housemates is moving in with his gal, so this leaves us a room in a rather nice neo-Georgian town house on the edge of Crouch End. Here's a lil' pic of the room and I've added some more plus a photo of the house behind the 'cut':
Rent is £99/week (not including bills).
We're on Hornsey High Street (Turnpike Lane/Muswell Hill Road). It's a brand new house and I'm the first person to have moved in, I've been here for nearly 6 years. The room a double at the back of the house and furniture is provided. The house has a large open plan lounge with 3 sofas and kitchen, central heating, washing machine, tumble dryer etc. We have wireless broadband.
Nearest tube is Turnpike Lane (not surprisingly as we're off Turnpike Lane), nearest overground is Hornsey which goes to Moorgate via Finsbury Park - so it's handy for city people as it'll only take you 20 mins to get to work in the mornings. Busses are 144, 41 (Archway->Severn Sisters and beyond), 91 (KingsX and west end), W3 (Finsbury Park), W7 and W5 from Crouch End and from Turnpike Lane: 29 (Camden), 141 (London Bridge via Manor House, Newington Green, Old Street etc). Night busses from KingsX to outside my front door and from Camden back to Turnpike Lane.
The house is warm 'n' cozy, in a nice area and bills are pretty cheap. It's great for people working in the City or North London and non-smokers are preferred but can be accommodated. BTW we don't mind non-Goths(TM), just as long as they are nice.
Finally, Crouch End is a really nice area of North London with a variety of bars, restaurants (3 Japanese within 10 mins) parks and sports clubs. Our neighbors include; Simon Pegg, Neil Morrissey and David Tennant. In fact, the place is full of thespians.
