with my grand passion for fairy tales, myths, and legends, I am always hoping that one of these damn flicks will be worth while. So far... extremely few are.

I can't say I'm surprised or that I had high hopes for this movie. It's unfortunate that it turned out so badly, it looked like it could have had potential.
I, too, loathe 3d films. I hate having to wear glasses over my glasses and don't particularly enjoy the results of wearing them.
As a side note, I do enjoy your movie reviews. :)
