Yeah, when I was out on Thursday, I was listening to Glenn Beck & Rush Limbaugh in the car. They both talked about the "pig in lipstick" comment and the comparison to Jesus. Those two guys crack me up. :)

While the Jesus comparison for Obama is pretty over-the-top, I do have to say that it seems like he's been considering "WWJD" in his campaign for a while. At the DNC, he was repeatedly complimentary of McCain as a patriot and hero, and kept focusing on the issues and not he man. On the other hand, McCain's campaign has been exceedingly strategic in every move it makes, even if more focused on countering the democrats than making the best moves for the Republican party.

Also, is it sexism if the feminist says that a woman is behaving more like a man on women's issues? It's a comment on her actions, rather than her gender.

Well, then, it seems that any woman who doesn't toe the feminist line is actually a man, if actions if by nothing else. I don't buy it, personally. It's just another form of the old liberal "you can't be a woman unless you're a feminist and you can't be black unless you're a Democrat" line.

How exactly are you going to go about trying to convince me that McCain's campaign has been strategic in each move, and Obama's campaign has done nothing but abide by WWJD? Because so far, that's just an unproven claim.

Just to remind you before you start the proof, "steal from the rich and give to the poor" was the line of an entirely different part of history...

California has gone too far. I don't ever want to live there! I'm glad my marriage license states "Bride" and "Groom."
