Good gods, man, get out while you still can. Any "hometown" is sheer bait for being stuck there all your life, and the longer it takes for you to get out, the less likely it is that you actually will.
Talk to your department person at our Lockheed and see what they reccomend. It's not like they're not going to be able to find somebody to fill in your spot if you tell them as soon as possible. Also, when it comes to job offers, don't be afraid of continuing with internships in various places for a while after you graduate. You don't have to start working at the job you'll be at for the next thirty years right after you've picked up your diploma.
Also, getting your code on a rover is A Cool Thing. Do it. You know you'll regret it if you don't.
Definitely talk to both places, explain your situation, and see what they suggest. I think it's possible... uhm... premature to envision seeing any of these summer positions as potential job offers later on, but they're all sure ways of acquiring new skill sets that will help you later on. Looking at it that way, does that change which you would pick?
I don't want to offer too many suggestions, being in a completely different field, but... yeah. And you've got my support no matter what you do. :)
