On a somewhat related note, I found a site that makes your own handwriting into a font for free. Easy if you have a scanner, ridiculously easy if you have a tablet. Makes stylized lettering really fun and easy.

It works really well - the first thing I tried it on was a hybrid logo that a graphic designer made for us that didn't really use a standard font (the designer took a font converted it to a graphic and then altered it) - it came up with the underlying font the graphic was based on, plus some close alternatives.

I was very impressed by it.
