Damian had been sent to bed and had spent the next day quite miserable. He had no idea if anything had happened or if his father would ever forgive him.
So he had decided to investigate the new interlopers in his home.
He had just entered Mar'i's room, and he was more confused than ever. How could she even exist? She seemed real and yet, she had come from a future where he didn't exist...
Damian whirled around and thought quickly. 'Looking for you. I could not find you," he said, hoping she didn't throw him into a wall. "I wanted to ask you more questions."

Damian froze in midstep, shocked at how intelligent this Oliver Twist doppelganger could be. Had he been so transparent? It was unnerving to realize that this one too was actually sharper than he had appeared; it made him angry for underestimating him. Worse, he was actually grateful to hear it confirmed from his enemy that his father did love him. He didn’t know if he believed it, but it was…pleasant to hear. He knew that his father wasn’t small, it was far from it. He was still angry, but he had no wish to kill anyone in the next hour. “Tt,” he said softly. “I know my father loves me. I never had a doubt. ” He would not show weakness. “I suppose I can see this as training. Will we be in the same class?” he asked.
Tim made a face. "I didn't consider seeing it as training. Mostly, I think it's just annoying. A lot of the other kids are kind of..." he shrugged a little. Calling them sheep seemed a little mean, and not exactly the greatest way to get Damian excited about school. Even if it was accurate.
Not that school exactly anything to be really excited about.
"I don't think we will be. I'm going to be a few grades ahead of you. But we'll probably see each other around. The school's not that big."
Damian nodded. "I can imagine they would be rabble," he said, relaxing a bit more. "I have read enough books to know about schools in general. Anything I should know in particular? I imagine you would be...someone who would abreast of vital details. Weak points if we need to escape?" he asked. What if something happened and they were needed? "Ways to skip?"
Tim gave him a little grin. "There are always ways to skip. Especially if you're as sneaky as you probably are." Given what little he knows about how Damian was raised, cutting class will be a breeze for him. "The doors aren't even alarmed. The best way to get out is through the gym because it backs up to a little stand of trees, and it's harder to notice you leaving."

When Mar'i catches sight of Damian, she freezes on the spot, sitting astride the window sill, with one foot still on the roof outside.
"... what are you doing in my bedroom?" She inquires, with an half perplexed half guilty expression on her face.
