Tim settled onto a rooftop with excellent sightlines for Gotham Central.  It looked like the cops pretty much had things under control, but... well.  That could change pretty quickly, depending on how rowdy the detainees were feeling tonight.  One guy a little too drunk for sense could change things pretty quickly

Cass lands soundlessly beside Tim and nods around him at the little one, whose posture is ALLL about defiance and bluster. "I watch. You," she taps Tim, "East. Green shirt, brown pants. Trouble."

The guy matching that description isn't a prisoner but rather part of the gathering crowd and something is very off about him. Something that set Cass' teeth on edge.

Tim gave her a brief salute and grinned, heading off in the direction she'd indicated. "I'll be in touch," he called over his shoulder, motioning to his comm. "By the way--what am I calling you these days?"

Robin watched while Tim headed off. "I don't need a babysitter, you know," he pointed out, frowning up at... Cass? Not-Batgirl?

"Niao," she says into her comm. It's not something that she's really thought about. The term is something an old woman at a flower shop had called her. It means bird and while she was never Robin, it seems to fit. Also the sound of it reminds her of the character Neo from that movie Barbara likes.

She carefully cuts out the comm before replying to the boy. "No, but better. Tim worry." And if having her around means he doesn't worry, then it's worth while. Besides, she'd like to get to see more of this boy, get to learn him without words.

He made a face. "He doesn't need to worry about me. I can take care of myself. What's Niao mean?"
