Totes not evil. Who would call Cas evil? I was debating with myself this morning whether Cas would have even been able to go through with it, had the boy not stopped him. I mean, that look on his face is something akin to horror at himself and what he thinks he has to do.
Cas getting emotions is very helpful to me. I wrote a fic with him in it, and I'm confident of characterizing Dean and Sam, but not so much Cas because he's... alien in some ways. The flickers of emotions definitely help.
You are quickly becoming my LJ god! OMG so much Misha on my little monitor I may implode. The next to the last pic is just...how can one actor convey so much emotion in such a short amount of time? I'm going to friend you if that's okay for you are awesome :)

The flickers of emotion are brilliant because they're like little flareups that Castiel probably doesn't even realize are happening.
I find Castiel easier to write than the boys. :)
