Let's talk about Clex, baby!

I have to admit that since the show has become something I can't watch, I've been trying to think of ways to keep my Smallville fangirl heart alive. I still desperately want to write in the fandom because I love the characters Clark and Lex so very much, as freak4ever would prove. I wouldn't have continued to write him if I didn't feel so much affection for

I always get stupid and giddy over the Metamorphosis scene where they talk over Lex's Trojan miniatures. No matter any other beautiful scenes ('Stuff of legends' barn scene, for example!) that one will always be my ultimate favourite

That was a great moment. Clark was so cute and Lex was so flirtatious. At least that's what I saw. :)

That's why when Superman was thought dead, the only person who couldn't accept it was Lex.

I loved that!

That Phoenix moment was just so gorgeous. I remember the comments made about how Clark was the most happy to see Lex alive. He was so obviously in love. That Red moment is still one of the hottest on the show. I just made screen caps of the episode and it floors me how blatant Lex is when he looks Clark up and down. And the idea of them running off to the city together. I still wish that Lex had dropped everything and just left with Clark at that moment.

Just about anything from the first two, three seasons, of course. Later, though more painful...the bit where Lex more or less calls Clark the sun (Apollo) and says he's afraid to get too close or he'll melt and fall...how much more explicitly TEXT can you get?! He still idolizes the guy, even when he hates everything he stands for because he feels he can't live up to it, so why try.

Of course, Text-wise there's also Chloe outing Clark by calling herself his krypto-hag, LOL, but that's not necessarily CLEX.

And of course there's Lexmas, and how OBVIOUS it is that they're having an affair behind Lana's back, hehe. As I've heard someone say on Thamiris' comments once, you could almost hear the director saying, "And lets make them MANLY backslaps this time, guys! Not so gay!" LOL!

That's why they call S6 'the return of the gay', lol.

But, of course, the first couple seasons still take the cake. EVERY time they meet! Clark rushing to Lex and berating him for speeding in Hourglass... Every Loft/Castle moment... *happysigh*

The first few seasons were so good. I still enjoy watching an episode once in a while. I think I prefer them happy, even if I knew they were one day supposed to be enemies. The show was just so much better and filled with so much more potential back then. Thanks for sharing.

OH man that's hard to choose, but I'd have to say Lex's return in Phoenix . . Clark's look of awe, then disbelief, and then total LOVE.

The hug at the end of Asylum, which will forever and ever pwn my heart.

The hayloft scene at the end of Hug. That smile they give each other!

There are so many others that I love, but those are my faves, I think.

The Asylum hug was pretty good. I loved how Clark sank into the hug and didn't seem to want to let go.

It was the way Clark sank into it, and that little twitch of a very, very happy smile from Lex. Like he was right where he belonged.
