Not much. Life is sucking like a sucky thing right now. There is much upheaval in yea old land of gothdom. I'm having trouble sleeping and other personal things that I won't go into here.

FWIW, I LOVE your caps.

I've notice with my pic posts that I've gotten very few comments lately--who knows why? General lull in fandom, S6 discontent, steady decline of Clex as the season progresses.

For me: I tell myself that, while I always enjoy getting comments and am disappointed when the posts seem to be ignored, ultimately I'm doing 'em for ME. That's my strategy--doesn't have to be yours, of course. Just thought I'd share, and empathize.

Thank you! The problem is that between downloads uploads etc it takes 6 + hours to make caps for each episode. The download stats of the zip files are high in some cases they were downloaded over 50 times and I know I haven't gotten that many comments. I figured I'd finish off the season since there's only two episodes left to go, but I probably won't be rushing to make them.

except for the last 2 eps, you might be right on the s6 discontent, though my fannish view has always been purple *g* , so I havent feel much of lull, but au contraire, with each issue of the ledger, with each application for membership that I get at the groups (smallville_storyfinders, clarklex, clarklexfic) and currently we are up to 10 new fans every week(!) who wants to join, it feels like fandom is bustling with busyness. there are tons of fics, vids, and arts everywhere!

oh, and speaking of art, of course, I have no control over what those folks do or not do, when I send them over, but clearly, the last 8 weeks or so, everytime, I saw fans asking for caps , I have been running to yours, signe's and goth_clark's ljs, to look up the links to all of your caps. and trust me, there has been lots of requests for places for caps.

I guess, that ratio of comments for caps might be even worse than for fics, and we know with fics, that out of 100 readers, if you are lucky, you get 3 or 4 to comments.

You're so right. Remember that JRM video my daughter did? She put it on YouTube and it's had 15,000 views, garnered 100 comments!

Anyway, not to speak for goth_clark here on her LJ, but I know I always appreciate deeply someone commenting, taking time to use the caps, crediting. She's right that they ARE time consuming, especially the quality caps she provides. Thanks for letting us know that they're an important service!

I love your caps (and I visit your site often), I hope I comment frequently! Not so many people take the time to comment anymore, I've noticed. When you're feeling blegh, it's not a good thing at all.

I hope that you don't stop making caps--I know that lots of peope depend on them. There's just a lack of commenting all around, seems to me.
