I totally agree. RL is full of drama, so why should LJ be the same? Don't like, don't click or hit your back button. Simple as that.:)

You know, I have felt irritation that some ships existed, but there's no need to go out and piss in those people's ice cream. Let them enjoy what they want, and you just enjoy what YOU want. Especially in a show with slash ships, there's no point for this competition. People act like they can get their ship to be canon, and while I think that the natural end for the show should be Sam happy with a life that provides independence as well as some time with his brother and Dean with Castiel in the family he wants, somehow I suspect that my desires (like in everything else) will not be fulfilled. But that's okay because I have subtext and fanfic.

I'll never understand why people get so ignorant with others about who they ship. There are sooooo many ships that I see that I will never understand or read, but I just pass them right by. And it's why I stick mostly to fic my friends write because I know they'll understand what I like and I understand what they like. :)

I SO agree with you. There are things that *squick* me out and I just don't read it. If you don't like it don't read it. How hard can that be? Sometimes I think the some people just like to argue and start trouble. They get off on creating controversy. People should just live and let live. Unfortunately there are assholes everywhere. Even in fandom.
