Some members liked the idea of having a kink meme/comment fic meme on got_exchange, especially since the other ASOIAF/GoT kink memes are fairly dead at the moment. (It's only posted on the mod account journal because I don't want anonymous comments on the exchange comm.)

I have no idea how they got to this point, but you said you didn't care how it happened. ;) I'm afraid it's not too porny, just a kiss for the moment. I wasn't in the mood to write explicit porn. I might continue this, but I won't promise anything.

When their lips meet, it's like the weight of the world leaves his shoulders. It's clumsy and awkward, the scratch of beard is unfamiliar against his skin, and he can taste the salt of the ocean on Davos' lips. He feels rough hands clutching at his shoulders, one of them maimed, and it only makes him pull Davos closer. Oh this is just so awesome! And it also feels quite complete in itself and considering how Stannis is, just the fact that they kissed felt... quite huge, if I'm making any sense? But that said this was just lovely. I loved Davos just getting what Stannis thinks without him even needing to say it. And all the little details like Stannis not recognizing his own voice were heartbreaking. (And the re-use of that book line in the beginning was perfect in here.) If you decide to continue it I wouldn't be adverse to read more but it's just so very lovely as it is. :)

Thank you so much. :D I tried to make it sound complete in case I won't continue it. I'll see if I feel like writing porn in the next few days.
And it does make sense - just a kiss is a huge deal for Stannis. I don't think he ever kisses Selyse, not even when he sleeps with her.

Melisandre must die, and then Selyse can burn herself in despair, and Stannis can go on and live a happy life with Davos (and Jon, and maybe Sansa).

While I'm not gonna lie and say that I don't want a second part (though I understand that getting Stannis to... actually have sex is next to impossible), this by itself was absolutely lovely. I think my favourite part is how he asks Davos to call him by his name, rather than just "Your Grace" and like how he doesn't want Davos to feel obligated to do it and slkfjalskjflajs.

So glad you liked this. :) I may try to write a second part during the weekend or next week, but as you said, it's really hard to get Stannis to have sex.
Almost nobody ever calls Stannis by his name, it's just sad. So I'm sure he'd like it in private. ^^ (And 'Stannis' is just a beautiful name, imo.)

UGH YOU KILLED ME AGAIN. I have a hard time picturing them making out/having sex too but it didn't feel ooc at all! It was beautiful, and perfectly in character. I especially loved "the man he never allowed himself to be". Oh, my poor Stannis.
Also, your "dream" prompt suprised me because I had a similar idea :D. Really hope it gets filled!

I have no idea how they'd ever start making out, and the only way I could write this was to dive in without giving any thought to how it began. Because if they ever started, they'd just stop after one kiss and be incredibly embarrassed and never talk about it again.
Braintwins. ^^ Dreams are pretty much the only way they could do anything. Maybe you could write it yourself? ^^

Hahaha I don't know about Davos, but yes, poor Stannis would be even more repressed than before.

Oh god, I wish I had the skills and the courage but I'm just...not a writer LOL. And my english is definitely not good enough anyway (aaaand this is why I have so much admiration for people like you who don't even write in their first languages). I think i'll just stick to graphics for now. Sorry, I wish I could participate more in fandom :/

Davos would probably be less awkward about it, but Stannis would die from embarrassment. He'd feel horrible about himself.

Graphics are gorgeous, too. :D I can't wait for season 2 and more Stannis/Davos graphics, hopefully. But you shouldn't let lacking English skills alone keep you from writing - my English sucked when I started writing, it took me lots of practice and my beta reader lots of patience to get it where it's now. ;) I'm just saying, if you ever feel like writing something and want someone to look through it, I'm always happy to help out. ^^ And judging by your comments your English is fairly good, I've seen so much worse in fandom. ;)
And now I should stop trying to bully people into writing. ^^ Ignore me.
