Some members liked the idea of having a kink meme/comment fic meme on got_exchange, especially since the other ASOIAF/GoT kink memes are fairly dead at the moment. (It's only posted on the mod account journal because I don't want anonymous comments on the exchange comm.)

"Stannis," he breathed quietly, trying to put all those unspoken, calming words into the name alone. He could feel something moist on his cheek, and he wasn't sure if it was sweat or a tear. Stannis' movements against him were almost frantic now, and Davos himself felt his composure slip, his eyes fluttering shut. He felt Stannis tense up a last time, a deep moan erupted from those thin, unsmiling lips, his voice almost broke - "Davos, my Davos."

Omg. This is perfect- pretty much exactly as I can expect this happening. You nailed the tension and Stannis's pent-up passion. GAH!

Also, I love the dichotomy of Stannis thinking he's above ~such things~, but also believing it's something he should be denied. It reflects his pride and self-criticism, both of which are integral to his character.

You put that better than I ever could, but I agree completely. Stannis generally has this weird mixture of pride, of thinking that he's better than most other people, and of criticising and questioning himself constantly, thinking that he doesn't deserve anything good in his life. He's so beautifully conflicted.

Unf, just...Unf. I love this.
It was incredibly hot, and still in-character, I'm impressed. It's so hard to picture them resolving their UST, but this is how it would be !

It - it is wonderful. Please write more about them. I love their relationship in the books. I think king Stannis deserves for loyalty, devotion, love - everything - from his Hand.
