Some members liked the idea of having a kink meme/comment fic meme on got_exchange, especially since the other ASOIAF/GoT kink memes are fairly dead at the moment. (It's only posted on the mod account journal because I don't want anonymous comments on the exchange comm.)

He makes it to the back entrance of the brothel before he feels his legs give. He collapses against the wall, the empty bottle in his hand smashing on the stones below, and retches until his throat is raw. Petyr is thankful for the isolated area, though the idea of keeping up appearances at this time seems almost laughable. When he finally comes up from air he notices, with a great deal of confusion, that he is crying; he cannot remember when he started, though the tears are still hot on his face. He wipes them away with an angry hand and takes a calming breath, struggling for control ( ... )

WOW. Thank you so much for writing this. It's excellent, very visceral and raw and it's so good to see Petyr without his masks. Is it wrong that part of me feels so sorry for him?

the fact that he didn’t matter enough to be told personally does.

Thanks! I was hoping it was raw (and self-destructive) enough.

I feel sorry for him too. I think I have more sympathy for him than I'm supposed to.

Oh yes. Definitely.

I do too - even though he set the "ruin all Starks" wheels in motion, I do pity him. I think it's the whole "self-made man" trope; it's easier for me to identify with LF than say, Tywin, another terrible character who I sympathize with (re. Joanna).

This was wonderful. So raw and destructive and so brilliantly written that I can just picture it.
