Some members liked the idea of having a kink meme/comment fic meme on
got_exchange, especially since the other ASOIAF/GoT kink memes are fairly dead at the moment. (It's only posted on the mod account journal because I don't want anonymous comments on the exchange comm.)
A couple of rules before we start:

I am so glad that it worked. I am determined to use this meme to force myself to write Tywin again! I can't believe that there's not more either. There is some really good Lannister gen fic out there, but very little of it.

Tywin is such a wonderful character, and I'm really intrigued by this quiet, trusting relationship he has with Kevan. They just understand each other, and I'm sure in a way they're just there for each other. I like seeing characters like Tywin around the people they love. So ... I'm looking forward to more Tywin fic. ^^

I'll have to write more at some point.

He definitely was more of a father to his siblings, yes, although I do think he also had a very brotherly relationship with Kevan. They just worked so well together, they relied on each other, and I have a thing for co-dependent brother relationships. ^^
Yay! :D

That's what's missing w/the younger Lannisters too - that mystique kind of thing is missing. Tyrion has potential for that, but Cersei is utterly transparent and Jaime is just too conflicted.

I always found Tyrion the most transparent of them all, maybe because he was a POV character from the start. It was always obvious why he's fucked up. He managed to make up for it with lots of snark, but at some point you still realise that there isn't really anything extraordinary to his character.

True re. Tyrion - I meant for the other characters. Seems like they all see his smartass side and don't know his PAIN/ANGST stuff until the whole "Where do whores go" business. Like poor Penny and Griff, etc.

Ah, okay. Somehow Tyrion's pain and angst do nothing for me, though. I'm really amazed by how much my opinions on certain characters has changed throughout the books, that rarely happens to me.
