Some members liked the idea of having a kink meme/comment fic meme on got_exchange, especially since the other ASOIAF/GoT kink memes are fairly dead at the moment. (It's only posted on the mod account journal because I don't want anonymous comments on the exchange comm.)

Jon sighed, trying to explain. He told Sam about the mother he'd never known, the secrets his father wouldn't share, the sad curiosity that never ceased. When Ros bared her perfect chest, all Jon could think was, A whore. My mother could've been a whore. He couldn't do it. He wouldn't father another bastard like him. Another bastard named Snow. Jon's voice trailed off, and he picked up the old scrubbing brush. He didn't feel like talking anymore, and he hoped Sam wouldn't ask any more questions.
"So," the other boy began. Jon paused, tensing.

When they finally broke for breath, Jon and Sam stared at each other.

They laughed again as they both tried to speak. "You first," Jon said, shifting his weight. He didn't want to move away, though, and Sam didn't seem to mind.
"I never thought of kissing a boy," Sam finished. "I always thought of, y'know, red-haired girls with huge melons."
"Melons? They're not all that mesmerizing, I assure you. I should have known this had something to do with it, though. Most men can't help themselves when they see a girl's breasts, but I just couldn't stop thinking"You certainly weren't thinking a few moments ( ... )

I haven't seen a lot of Wall!fic in general. Just doesn't seem to be popular for some reason.

Hm, really? I've seen quite a bit of Jon-fic out there, but I confess I haven't read very much of it. I'm a latecomer to the Jon fan camp. Is most of it not set at the Wall?

PLEASE LET ME GIVE YOU ALL THE INTERNETS. YES YES YES this was just perfect. Oh those two. They were just as adorable as in that scene and oh my Sam saying that girls would be jealous of him *smishes* and Jon taking the upper hand. And Sam totally liking it. And THEY'RE PLANNING TO GO FURTHER. And they're SO HAPPY OMG I LOVE YOU this fill is a thing of beauty and since there's so few of this ship I shall treasure it forever. *loves* MY HEART. I loved this so much. :DD
Also about the comment you left me above: I guess it's the two of us. I just don't get how little of it is around. Seriously, they're attached to the hip for a lot of the time, five minutes after they met in the books Thorne was already calling Sam Jon's lady love, it can't be just a handful of us shipping it... (And more Sam fic is always a good thing.)

I loved this part in the show. It's such a great addition, and it definitely made me think, "Really, Jon Snow? There's a gorgeous naked woman in front of you, and you're STILL brooding?" But notice SAM gets him to stop brooding. xD
SRSLY. I didn't even think of Thorne's mocking comments, but gosh, you're right. It's SO obvious to ship them. Why is it such a rarity??

Oh dear I loved it so much too. And it did nothing to lessen my love for that pairing - actually it was so... very... well. Really, I was sure that they were going to kiss. As if I needed more reason to dislike Ser Alliser. ;) (and hee Sam basically is the one person in the universe that gets Jon to stop brooding at any given time... then again Jon is the one person in the universe that makes Sam feel self-assured so I guess it's a win.)
Lol I've re-read last week Jon's Wall parts of GOT because I miiiightttt be trying to sort out how to write those two for a small fandoms big bang (obviously, there's no fic with them around but I sign up to write 10k of it *masochism*) and I needed refreshing and seriously, just in the first couple of chapters you lose count of the times both Thorne and others mock them by saying they're in love with each other. IT'S LIKE ALL THERE! and with no offense to anyone who ships it, I don't get how there's no Jon/Sam but there's a ton ( ... )

Yes, that is so true! Jon gives Sam confidence, and Sam makes Jon smile...awwww!!!
I don't really get that either. Besides the fact that they're both pretty people and some people think they're both Targs. Which, they may be, who knows? I know nothing Ah well, to each his own. Then again, book!Jon isn't necessarily all that pretty, is he? Martin always describes him as dark and long-faced like Ned, which doesn't sound like traditional beauty. :-/

I know nothing either I guess I get why people find it appealing but I'm still totally baffled that it's so popular in comparison to most other Jon ships which are actually made of people he has talked to for real... and that stated yeah book!Jon never felt like OMG SO VERY PRETTY to me (same as Arya). He obviously has to be somewhat handsome/lean/nicely built and he probably looks very good in comparison to 99% of Wall people, but I don't think he's supposed to be traditional pretty. though obviously Sam thinks he's the most beautiful thing that ever walked the ground in Westeros
