Here we go for the post-exchange comment fic meme. (Posted on the mod account as usual because I don't want to enable anonymous comments on the exchange comm.)

A couple of rules:

- please include the pairing/character (and maybe a short prompt/kink) in the comment title - both for prompts and for fills.
- there are both show and book fans in this

FILL: Stannis/Davos, reunion 1/2

The hour is late, the solar he has taken in Winterfell is cold and still feels as though it ought to be occupied by another; but Stannis Baratheon rarely sleeps more than a few hours a night and it is not yet his hour

Their lips meet, faster than he'd expected (had he really expected?) and Stannis almost pulls away but doesn't (because that would confirm the act as a folly), just presses his lips to Davos' until Davos seems to flinch and then their mouths meet a second time and it's different now, Davos' lips slightly parted and there's an urgency to it which Stannis hadn't realised before.

Stannis puts his arms back up around Davos: one on his back, the other in the hair at the base of his neck; and he feels Davos' good hand on his own back, holding him there. Stannis can't think of anything except that Davos is alive and don't let go and his hands turn to fists, gripping Davos, and he'd wonder if his grip were too tight only when Davos gasps he somehow knows it isn't. And Davos is allowing Stannis to back him up into the wall, or maybe Davos is leading him there, coaxing, something, but when they hit up against it, Stannis finds he doesn't care. You know it's true! :D If their positions were reversed, and Stannis was the one who'd been believed dead, Stannis would say "Of course I'm alive." And then pretend not to understand Davos' desperate relief and love and need to confirm that Stannis is real and there, right there, alive and every bit the man he'd followed all those years. He'd even be sort of pleased when Stannis demanded he release him because it would be proof that he was still the same man he'd always been. Yep. ♥

DFGDFGDFDGF THIS IS PERFECT. Oh, stannis, trying to be all formal and I love how he recognises Davos' steps and the KIIIIIIIIIIIISS, and he forgot Davos' title and once they kiss it's a lot less awkward than Stannis expected because he just doesn't care, he just wants his Davos. <3333 Not really coherent because I'm tired, but I love this. :D
