Ah! This is flawless! I'm so fascinated by Myranda just based on the little glimpses of her that we get in canon, and you've done a wonderful job delving into her brain a bit. Your Myranda is a perfect blend of charming young flirt and stone-cold strategist; it's clear that Myranda is much sharper than she's often given credit for, and so I loved seeing that shrewdness in this story. And eeeeeee, the Alayne inclusion was great! The idea of Randa as Alayne's "mentor" tickles me more than I can say.

Thank you! I'm glad I was able to get something out for this prompt, finally, because it really does fascinate me/make sense.

I love her relationship with Alayne, so I had to throw that in there.

I love your Myranda. She is the right balance of scheming/hard Merteuil figure (I probably find Merteuil in everything) and flirty youth.
