You've just described a lot of feelings I had when I was living in London and promoting Australia - I'd never been but for some reason felt I was 'missing' it. After 2 years, I visited Sydney, three times in 5mths...and decided I wanted to live here. So within 6 weeks I'd found myself a job and moved countries...and the rest is history.
Sometimes, I think the heart knows best :)
