As dumb as yesterday's was... this one is impossible.

I know ROUGHLY what is involved in computing this... but I don't have the math skills required to do so. I'm sure that the answer is one of those things that number theorists, mystics, and numerologists will look on with great anticipation and speculation.

Oh... and yesterday's was dumb for two reasons... 1) Jess got it, within seconds, and I didn't. I'm just telling myself that she saw it before and simply remembered the answer... and B) because it is just plain silly. :)

Don't be so quick to dismiss this one. You can do this one with a combination of algebra and geometry (and a little programming/scripting).

Yeah... I worked out the geometry part... I think... and then I can write a program to start at one and keep feeding it the answer from the previous run until the previous answer is VERY VERY close to the current and next solution ( ... )

I'll take an answer within two decimal places. You win a coke if you get it right. And yes, I'm looking for the limit to which the series converges.

You never told me if my answer from yesterday was right.

And dammit, it's the only puzzle you posted that I even had a CHANCE at!

My apologies. Yes, your solution yesterday was right on the money.
