Alternatively Citrine.

BUT I ESSAYED ON YOU RECENTLY... ISH. ON BOTH OF YOU. Not much has changed since the last meme, probably because Raphael's default attitude towards Citrine is a combination of snarky attraction and disdain. He was kind of snippy for a while after their encounter during his genderswitch, but he's gotten over that. AS FOR SARA, he's worried that she'll try to do something stupid like provoking crazy angels, but isn't going out of his way to defend her... yet.

Notice the 'yet.' It's very important. :(b

THAT'S A VERY BROAD QUESTION. I mean I recall reading somewhere that FFT-Ivalice can be compared to Medieval Europe/Middle Ages, roughly, in terms of similarities to culture and society, which I think is a pretty fair mark. So if this is the case, then that makes XII Ivalice the Antiquity era, a culmination of Mesopotamia, ancient Egypt, Greece, and Rome. This isn't far off, either -- I think in the major countries (Dalmasca, Archadia, Rozarria) it feels more like a grander structure like ancient Greece and the Greek islands, but in visiting more secluded places (Raithwall's tomb, Jahara, Mt. Bur-Omisace) there is definitely a sense of nomadic structure, and in the tombs especially, a throwback to ancient Egyptian culture ( ... )

Oh yeah, now that my impromptu history essay is done -- what was Agrias' childhood like?

In my head, Agrias' family was probably backwater nobility, and her mother had died from one of the very many calamities that seems to befall the people of Ivalice. So she was raised by her father, who was a knight in the Fifty Years War. So she ended up with a lot more responsibility at a young age than some nobles, and she picks up a lot of knightly ideals from her father. Whenever he's away for the war, she gets left in the care of the local priest ( ... )

UM. She. She would freak. I honestly have no idea what I would do with Eugénie if Cavalcanti came to camp, because one of the things that hinges on her ability to not let him or his actions get to her is that she does not ever have to deal with him again. She might flip her shit. I don't know.

Michael takes Livio with him back to Heaven; what's his reaction?

Wherever Mika goes. They don't plan on returning to Heaven after camp anyway, at least not permanently. Given the option, they'd go to visit Rabi at the Black Order, and Shigure and the Sohmas in Japan. And Raph would see if he could go to Immanion to see Rue. And wherever the hell Axel winds up.

What are Livio's plans post-camp?

So what does Vaan think of his role in XII? Does he think of himself as "the leading man" or as someone who just got swept along the way?

Reply

gotagoodfeeling September 30 2008, 01:36:04 UTC
Honestly, I think this only mattered to Vaan up until he was able to fly on an airship. THEN HE DIDN'T CARE ANYMORE. BECAUSE. AIRSHIP!!! But he doesn't think that the events of XII were his story, he didn't really think they were anyone's story except for Ashe. And she's queen! That's how it's supposed to be! Vaan never wanted to be the leading man, he wanted to explore and have adventures and just experience as much of the world as he could. That's what his story means to him, is to do all of that. Whether or not he's the "leading man" doesn't matter; what matters are the experiences.

Do we get married, and if so, how?

We aren't already? Hm. Well that's a tough question!

Penelo is a really practical girl...although she does have girly omgsquee romantial desires buried in there somewhere. Marriage means stability, which is a plus for her practical side! But...it's not something she'd ever push for, because she's already Vaan's partner. She's part of his dream and if anything that means more--all nagging aside, of course.

If it happens it's completely unplanned and part of some wacky sky-piratin' scheme, but instead of going "ha ha wasn't that for laughs :D;;" she'd just sort of silently acknowledge it as legit |D

.......................................................So how broken up would you be if I had Larsa's bastard children?
