Two years ago a project was started that changed the lives of several individuals from several different worlds. These people were taken from their homes and forced into an experiment that was both twisted and wrong. Eventually the truth of this experiment became known to them and they fought back both for their own lives and the lives of those people on the worlds they had been taken from. After they won, they were returned to their rightful times and places, and sworn to secrecy about the experiment. They were told that transversing the various dimensions was impossible.
What the people who sent them back didn't realize, was their bond and determination to reunite. Bonds were formed two years ago that could not be severed by time or space. Those bonds transcended the realms of impossibility and broke down the necessary barriers.
It was with this power, that the group reunited. Despite the fear, terror, and tragedy of the event they had experienced two years prior, there was joyous moments hidden within it. It called for a celebration. Some place where they could reminisce and remember what had occurred.
There was no place better to do that, then, than at a special place in the rural parts of New York. A small farm had been built where a woman with bright red hair and an even brighter smile, had made her home together with a strange wolf-like man. Of course this was the best place because the woman was well known among the survivors as a maiden of great hospitality. The barn was cleaned and cleared out. She had set up tables with food of all kinds. And, of course, there was ample room for dancing and mingling among the guests.
They would be arriving any moment...
