now that you point it out, I think the girl who plays brooke from one tree hill WOULD make a good blair.

as for hayden christensen, maybe he'd make a decent nate, but I don't know that I can see him as that...

what makes me sad is that all the other characters, like david and vanessa- so on, might end up dissapearing in the background because the movie is supposed to focus on blair. I know it kinda does in the book, but still... the other characters are what balance it out, what make it work.

I totally agree...I love the books and I love the characters, but I don't want it to be just a documentary on Blair. I mean, the whole story is how these live, and how their lives intertwine. Vanessa is such a good character, I dont want her to be left out. She is the only one true-to-herself character left that I have seen. Maybe things will change in the 6th...But Dan? Went all poser when he hit it big...and he went with that icky mystic craze girl? Serena gets all jealous the second the attention isnt focused totally on her, Nate goes with that wacko Georgie (even though he does somewhat stop with the pot which is good) Jenny...dont even get me started on her! She thinks she is in love with that one guy she met at Barneys, and the second she finds out he isnt rich and doesnt live in a palace she dumps him.
Wow, I love these books...I really hope the movie doesnt screw it all up.

Hey I do agree with Rachel Bilson as Blair...but its shure thing that Lindsay Lohan is playing Blair. Theyve started filming. And as for Mischa Barton as Serena I disagree. She just doesnt fit like who Serena is. But thats just my opinion. I think a good Vanessa could be Scarlett Johansson but with a shaved head obviously.

I really don't think Mischa Barton would make a good Serena, I just can't see her like that. I think Mischa is beautiful and I love The O.C., it's just I see Serena alot different. Heh. I can't wait for the sixth one either, and the fifth one just came out last month -_-, another long wait...
