I don't take people off my friends list. lilduckie4jesus is still a friend. Travelangel is still a friend. Taking people off a friends list makes me think of pouty twelve year old girls. Though perhaps that's where most of LJ's market is?
Where'd the rest of the post go? This was a long post, gathered lovingly (in the background) across much of a dreary Sunday morning. Then, once I post it, it's gone!
OK, Feste dragged travelangel onto LJ. I joined so I could nag travelangel with a clear conscience. I don't make distinctions between real-life friends and LJ friends. And so on. I'm not going to write the whole thing again. Sorry, world.

I agree with you that is not the correct dichotomy. Friends are friends. The real dichotomy is between friends and non-friends.
Speaking of friends, Shadow and I will be passing through Calgary in late June/early July. Meet you at Peters Drive-In! :-)
