I don't know if I could read a blog like that. It would make me too sad knowing such a nice, witty, fun-loving person was dying of cancer. Death scares me too much. I only like it in my fiction (movies, books, etc.).

Death doesn't bother me in the slightest anymore, well you know obviously the thought of friends and family going is horrendous, but me personally, it doesn't bother me, whatever happens will happen.

Probably because i've practically nursed my Grandfather, Aunt and Stepfather, in a very short period of time (the latter two dying of cancer) whilst they were dying and it's a weird experience seeing anyway die in front of you especially those you care so much about.

But, as I say, no matter what happens in life, there's something you can get out of it, life is full of rich experiences and no matter how awful something appears, you can get something from it, even if it just toughens you up or gives you experience.

I definately believe that we derive all kinds of meanings through different life experiences, both good and bad. However, I think the reason I fear death so much is because I'm agnostic. I don't believe there is a heaven where I will be embraced by open arms and I think that lack of faith leaves me feeling no comfort at the thought of death.
