“I is still nots understandingks why yous doingks this, Nat’n,” Toki croaked. “The docstors says I’s still cont…contay…yous can still catch it.”
Toki sat beside Nathan in the sauna, sweat pouring off his pale arms, trickling down the muscles of his chest and stomach. The raw pain in his throat felt a little better when he breathed in the warm, humid air-he still couldn’t breathe through his nose, despite the tons of decongestants raging through his system.
“I just…uh…want you to, you know. Feel better.” Nathan’s big hand was settled at the back of Toki’s neck, gently massaging along his hairline.
Toki opened his mouth to speak, but sneezed instead.
“Gesundheit,” Nathan grinned.
