No joke, my mom has been going off about this for the past 24 hours. She is offended that when bad things happen it has to be a 'black thing'. Sometimes I wonder if she's actually serious or just being ridiculous, I hope it's the latter because I need her to chill otherwise. Dad says the bruise on my face should go away after another week or so

I think she just needs something to rant about to keep from being upset. Dad broke out the wine to mellow her out thank goodness.

There is a good thing that came out of this though, my dad says that I should do whatever it is I want. No more holding back on activities because of my asthma.

Falling on your butt isn't all so pleasant. I've got a nice bruise on my tail bone. Though I think a face bruise would be worse.

I will be sporting a stylish side part for awhile, covering it up with my hair. Oh No! Are you okay? That is not going to be fun to sit on in those hard desk chairs at school.
