I AM REWRITING THIS.
Alfred turns up to cook and clean for him. The Porter gives him divination as a power.
A black-haired, blue-eyed male teenager who already knows three kinds of martial arts, how to drive a souped up car, advanced detective methods, doesn't talk much, is already used to being a sidekick to an obsessed dude, and has a severe case of Asperger's turns up. The Porter grants him non-aging as his power.
All that it would take for Rue to consider any future ideal is her being with Mytho in it. But in an ideal ideal future, he is also free of Raven's blood crazy, and she gets to dance with him all the time and they are totally engaged and stuff. Also she's the prima ballerina for a touring company.
And this is less ideal for her than for me, but I'd like to hope that in five years or so she ends up less crazy and damaged. And maybe has a few more friends.
Obi-Wan becomes very fond of her, though he would never admit it out loud in Fakir's presence.
He tries to make it clear to her, as often as possible, that there are people in this City who love and care for her whether she is raven or girl, ballerina or student.
NOT the italicized someone, Edgeworth has grown used to hearing about Tank Girl being in jail now and then, and makes the very occasional visit when it happens to be somewhere either in or close to the City to find out just what she's done this time and smile inwardly.
Also not the italicized someone, but he still comes to her for advice and poetry and liquor recommendations. They talk about the Force, and chaos, and their significant others.
