Ok, so, questions! What would your character consider their best/happiest memory? What would be their worst? Would their opinions of events be different from what you, as a player, would consider the happiest/saddest moments in their canon? What about in game?

this is not a meme, question, questions of a deep & meaningful nature, hallie has valuable input

Garrus would probably say being accepted into C-Sec, orsaving the world, or -- any number of duty-related items would make him happy. Seriously, though, the destruction of the Normandy and loss of Shepard? NIGHTMARES FOREVER ( ... )

DAMIAN█ He considers the best moment of his life to be the day that he put on the Robin costume and officially took on the role. This isn't precisely a "happy" moment--his father was dead and a bunch of other things were going on, but it's a memory he looks back on with pride, and is something he values as having done for himself. It's also a memory filled with acceptance, since Dick gave him the role, which Bruce probably never would have. He probably also considers the birthdays he spent with his mother fairly happy, but there is a certain emotional dissonance associated with all his memories of Talia, now. His worst moment is probably when he thought Ra's was actually going to steal his body, or the first time he met Bruce and his father utterly crushed all expectations, or when Talia disowned him. Looking into future canon, Dick almost being crippled by Dr. Hurt probably ranks pretty high up there ( ... )

CLINT█ He could probably list a lot of happy memories, but the biggest stand-out for him would be the day he finally got it together and "captured" Jarvis, becoming an Avenger. It's something he really sees as the greatest, best day of his life, because it brought a lot of validation and led to so much afterward. Runners-up are probably things like the day he and Bobbi eloped, everything sorting itself out after Siege, and dumb little moments in between when he was just with his Avengers-family and things were normal. Bad moments... um, we conveniently get a full-page spread of all his worst moments and failures during Dark Reign (things like failing to save Natasha that one time, when Bobbi died, his failure with the whole Moonstone thing, his brother dying), but I'd consider his lowest point to be when he first comes back to life just after Civil War, and he has to deal with the immense sense of betrayal and pain and also guilt, because he might have prevented it ( ... )

I LOVE QUESTIONS

Sanji's best memories are little things - being told (not to his face) that Zeff and the other cooks respected him, seeing the Sky Islands, his love-at-first-sight moment with Nami, seeing Nami naked in the bath at the palace in Alabasta...okay that one is probably #1. His worst is every minute spent on that rock slowly starving to death, and seeing the others banished off Sabaody by Kuma before he himself was sent off. I'd personally add to that the end of Thriller Bark, because it was pretty traumatic but he gets over things like that pretty easily. In game? God. IDK THERE'S SO MUCH. Best might be getting his boat, worst might be...Liadrin dying?

Alastair doesn't have a lot of good memories. Maybe just the memory of his mother and brother. Worst is definitely seeing his brother killed right in front of him. In-game he's had the same luck, few good memories aside from time spent with people he cares about, Kiryu and Bakura and a few others. Worst is Kiryu dying while riding on the back of his motorcycle.

Ghost's happiest memories are working for Omnisapient back before the world he went totally crazy - he says it was the pinnacle of his happiness. Important job, respected by his colleagues, dating a lady he loved, everything was fab.

Then they murdered her and tried to murder him, and things went downhill from there. Probably his worst memory is his 'death' because it had a profound affect on him and pushed him over the edge to his costumed crusade. After that, he seems to take a lot of stuff in stride.

In the City, he's got pleasant memories of storming the Vulcanus base at Højere and assisting Candy - he really enjoyed that whole encounter.

Sad moments are when his frands keep being Ported out. :C and after four months and some change he's starting to suspect he's stuck.

Tom: his happiest memory back home is a three-way tie between Dumbledore telling him he's a wizard, finally finding the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets, and successfully making a Horcrux. The Horcrux one would probably win out if he actually remembered the whole thing.

His worst memory is also a tie between finally deciding that his father was not a wizard and meeting his wizard uncle, who was beyond disappointing. Actually no. Those both still suck, but Harry killing his basilisk was worse.

In the City, his favorite moment so far is probably meeting Sherlock Holmes. Worst memory is a tie between two very bad ones: meeting a six-years-older-than-she-should-be Ginny and Snape telling him he knows all about the Horcruxes. Everything else so far pretty much pales to those.

Kiryu: Kiryu's happiest memory from home is successfully taking over all of Satellite with his team. His worst memory is still the night where he got arrested and he thought for years that it was because Yuusei sold him out. He doesn't think that anymore, but ( ... )
