It bothers me when people take Loki and Sif's body and then ignore that he is using Sif's body and the terrible creepiness of it all and instead just takes it as an opportunity for MOAR ADAM HUGHES PINUPS and ~lol Loki's such a sexy lady~ That just... seems to erase Sif to me.

People thinking Jade is dumb or ditzy, because her dream robot is TOTALLY HER GUYS. Or people giving her a horrendously bad temper. Orrr people having her hate Karkat after he apologizes. Orrrrr having her fall, swooning, at Dave's feet. Also, there's a tendency sometimes to make her really weepy and have her sort of break down at the smallest provocation.

I prefer throwing random contributions into fandom and then running like mad to actually following it, because my blood pressure doesn't need that. But I do manage to pick up some things!

Keith Anyan (Toward the Terra): I don't think he sexually abused Matsuka. He physically and emotionally abused Matsuka, but just because they have creepy sexual tension sometimes doesn't mean it went any further on that account. Keith just has way too many reasons not to be doing anything sexual, especially with Matsuka (whom he normally avoids even touching in canon because that seems to let Matsuka past his psychic defenses). Since Toward the Terra's small fandom is pretty evenly split between "people who are only in it for the yaoi" and "people who are actually willing to put effort into understanding the story and characters," that's about my only issue.

Vriska Serket (Homestuck): I don't think romance is the answer to her problems, or that a romantic relationship with John would somehow ~save~ her. On the contrary I think what she needs is a

Pretty much! I think John is a great moirail figure for her, and with a little practice she could do something for him too. I stick with my opinion that Vriska is really more confused about her flushed feelings--for anyone--than anything.

And okay, I don't really ship Aradia with Sollux as a matesprit and I think Marceline/Finn as it stands now would be really creepy! But I think those are the only real opinions I have at odds with the other two fandoms, other than the general... Homestuck fandomness of Homestuck fandom.
