MOTORCYCLES wait what is going on again

So is someone making a Captain America movie or what? Because that up there is charmingly hilarious.

Yeah it's the official Marvel Studios Captain America film. They have Hugo Weaving as the Red Skull and everything.

I have SO MANY emotions about the costume. They are all conflicting.

I honestly don't know what to think

But it could always be worse.

And who knows, maybe they'll touch it up with CGI. Some costumes look pretty ridiculous outside of the comic book/cartoon. Batman, for example. Even the touched up one in TDK was still kind of ridiculous looking.

Hey now. I happen to have sat through that Captain America movie and I did not spontaneously combust.

I honestly don't know how I feel about touching costumes up with CGI. I'm waiting for the GL movie to decide if I want to slowly stone whoever made that decision. Also I feel threatened. I want to make superhero costumes, dammit.

But the Cap costume looks well made... Just like they didn't know what kind of fabrics would be available and practical in WWII. I'm willing to give a lot to pseudo-science, but. I like it grounded in some reality. Also it seems, idk, airbrushed? Hard to tell from these pictures.
