It's kind of hilarious imagining screening wanky threads on LJ (because, like... man I don't even remember I think someone was upset because Tony Stark wouldn't sleep with their not-actually-a-hot-chick female character and there was this whole hilarious shit storm about it) when not. anywhere near a computer so one side of the dream is me getting junk out of a vending machine and I'm being followed by LJ pages.
Mostly, I can't unsee people's PBs. Christian Slater is Starscream forever.
Then I found out that Chris Barrie - the guy who played Rimmer - has a TV show wherin he talks about cool machines. And he REALLY likes fighter aircraft...
In a semi-related fashion, do you ever somehow come to think of people as looking like their main character's pb/icons and then have a split-second of "WAIT WHAT oh oh right" when you see how they really look?
I dreamed that Shockwave (dressed as Rorshach) took me to Chuck E Cheese because I promised him iced tea. And then he helped me win some top prize which was, irc, a HSM purse? This all took place in a thread - I remember one of the subjects being "LOL WHAT IS THAT ICON."
OTHER HORRIFIC THINGS: oh my god you guys I have never been good at remembering people's names ngl but I have a huge problem now where I do the same damn thing that Ryan does and assigns them a possibly inappropriate term of endearment. AND I SWEAR IF I START SAYING "DEEPLY" OUT OF CONTEXT, I AM GOING TO SCREAM. This is why my speech patterns suck, you guys. I pick up bad habits like a sponge picks up germs.
like the dream you have--you know, the one where you dream about waking up and going through your normal morning routine, then right as you step out the door your alarm goes off and you realize that it was a dream and now you have to do it all over again.
do you know what's worse than that? falling asleep in the middle of working on a project and dreaming that you're working on that project so you don't wake up.
it happens a lot at my school, where no one sleeps until they pass out.
