I don't know what terminology is meant to go with icons, but to borrow from fic, you totally hit my kinks! Saturation, contrast, and lines - with restraint where thematically relevant.

Snagged New Kid (ooh, the gritty layeredness!), Tesla (very interesting crop, love that 'rule of thirds' :]), Alt #6 (heart-stopping colouring), Alt #24 (feels very 'steampunk' which I love about Tesla) and Alt #25 (those two rock and I love the inscribed circle).
