so today i decided to stomp down to the strip of green in front of my apartment and hacksaw off more threads to bushmills bottles. i do this. i have a diamond tipped hacksaw blade that works really well. the point, is that the bushmills bottle is the most nondescript squarish bottle you can get on the washington state liquor store state shelves

my main issue is that i can tell the difference by cork at the moment. they're all hand carved and unique based on that.

What if you covered each cork with electrical tape? That would eliminate the texture/look of the cork. The only problem is you'd have to tape carefully enough that you wouldn't notice the difference.
