Perhaps now I will make myself catch up on things. Also, I need to apply myself to the disorganized heap of my bedroom. Also, apparently my brain is stuck in fourteen-year-old boy mode, so please forgive the dudes and totallys.

This might be the longest posts in the history of livejournal.

I can't believe Alabama got an F, I was totally taught evolution, despite the disclaimer in the front of the book! But I hated my 9th grade biology teacher. She was mean and a horrible teacher, and creationists really pissed her off, so I don't believe in evolution out of spite. But christian creationists are crazy, so now I think the flying spaghetti monster created the universe. DON'T MOCK MY BELIEFS!!

Ugh, yeah it was crazy long. :( Made sense when I wrote it, late and tired! Did what I hope is some judicious pruning so now it's not quite so ridiculous.

Disclaimer - was that the sticker or what-not about teaching "both sides of the controversy" or something?

Good ole FSM. :)

I wasn't trying to be judgey. You can have journal entries as long as you want! Don't prune for my sake.

You can see the disclaimer here: http://www.swarthmore.edu/NatSci/cpurrin1/evolk12/al/alabama2001.jpg

I didn't see it as judgy! It was true. I went back and looked at it and was just, dude, time to break out the blue pencil.

That is a spectacular disclaimer: FACTS! REALITY! Are just "theories," decide for yourself if you want to accept them.

Hee, I love that icon. I haven't been reading fanfic since I don't have the internet at home, but I do spend a lot of time looking at my Trek glasses while drinking and thinking OMG IS IT TIME FOR THE NEXT ONE YET?

Sparkly hearts make everything better! I keep saving fan fic so I have enough to see me through my internet-less drought time.

affectingly has a bunch of good Trek & actors icons - there's a Team Science one that I may steal.

The last thing I read Abrams was talking about they've started drafting story ideas/concepts.
