Ah, well she said she was married to Kanha so as a kind of nun, she won't supposedy ever marry anyone ever (that's her idea) so she has a sindoor because she is married... Dev doesn't know she is actually married spiritually and not in reality~~... xD
Oh i see. But do they make the sindoor themselves? Isn't there someone higher in grade who would do it for them? like a priest or something? :/ I know nothing about Indian traditions so hang in with me.

LoLoL~~ The sindoor is usually put on the forehead of the woman by her husband - it's kind of metaphorical it means your are mine - but then the wife applies it on herself everyday after taking the bath you know.. It's a red powder that they have for life and usually when they are widow it's symbolic to erase it brutally (like in the scene where Amma wants to get rid of it with Radhika). In Radhika's case, she proclaimed herself as a god's wife so she applied it on her forehead after that herself. It sure is shocking without a ceremony first but for Radhika's case it was kind of sudden lol...
