Your surely don't know but Spain is about to get swept by an ultra-conservative revolution. Yes, we might be the largest country in Europe with a social-democrat party ruling now but this is going to change soon.

Thanks for the insight. Everytime the news mentions Greece and how the financial problem might spread to Spain and Portugal next, I think about you. So what are your thoughts on immigration in Spain? I found the whole episode in the British election when Gordon Brown was caught calling a woman a racist on a live mike very interesting. Of course here in the US we are having are own "discussions" on immigration. lol

Everybody says Spain is coming next. Well, we'll see... I can't tell for sure

About inmigration. I have mixed feelings. In one hand I'm for the integration of foreign people. I belong to the school of "papers for everybody" as illegal inmigrants are more subject to abuse. When they're legal, they are like the rest of us.

The only thing I dislike is that a significant part is like our country 50 years ago: controlled by an absurdily interpreted religion, machist, against women and things like that. Even the latinamericans that come, who are supposely closer to us have a hard time to get rid of that.

But the process can't be stopped. So I guess that part of our society will go back while the rest goes further.
