Monkey limited edition vinyl release date announced- includes exclusive tracks
The previously-announced limited edition version of the Monkey album has now got a release date - 8th December 2008. As previously announced, only 2000 copies of the limited edition album will be pressed ( the regular vinyl is in an edition of 2500 ) and will include a longer book than the regular vinyl edition ( 80 pages, compared to the 64 pages of the regular edition ) as well as art prints, (one signed by Jamie) and a different box.
The vinyl will also include six tracks not included so far on any other Monkey release. These have now been announced to be: '5 Point Star' (6:02), 'Living Sea Introduction' (0:49), 'The Dragon Queen' (1:34), 'Buddha's Palm' (1:17) 'Monk's Funeral' (1:39), 'Volcano' (1:09) .
The set retails for £250 and can be bought only from Vinyl Factory. Check out their site including pictures of the set here. As previously announced, the first 500 sets sold will ship with an Om box designed by Damon and Jamie.
