I have similar feelings about this New Year's post as I did about last year's. From a global perspective, I agree 2016 was a pretty craptastic year. For us personally, it was a decent year

My 2016 was about par for the course, nothing major in either the good or bad directions and I like that just fine. But I do understand why so many are upset/worried and I hope that the election result turns out to be so mediocre in the end that someday, people will laugh at how scared we all were.
