Junior Crown Prosecutor Alesha Phillips huffed her displeasure and crossed her arms, but as she stared out the passenger window she admitted it was a relaxing drive.
Finally they arrived at Harrogate. “Matt! The Harrogate Flower Show? But we could see the Chelsea Flower Show next May!”
DS Matt Devlin nodded. “But it’s September now, so….”
“You don’t even like flowers,” she whispered.
“But you do.” He kissed her forehead. “C’mon!”
