I'm a Portland-based science fiction writer and novice cheese enthusiast. I believe we may have some friends in common in either the Bay Area or Seattle. Interesting lj, sir.

why thank you. It does appear we have many folks in common. I do always enjoy a nice visit to the Northwest.

i think i did a little intro when i first walked in, on my way to the bar.

cheese is a by-product of what drew me here. i was looking for over-30 SF folks who seemed to groove in similar ways. you and all those others

:: waving in the general direction of the corner where the loud laughter is heard ::

seem to have a good thing going, and i've "friended" a few of you. the writing speaks of what i'm seeing and doing in my life here. and sure, there's the hope that we might see one another at some real time setting with some real time libations.

you throw a good party.

oh yes, I remember your intro. You were a gecious newcomer. Not that any ettiqueete is really required for an LJ friend. I imagine we'll meet someday. You live in the east or south bay?

Hi, I 'm Julia. I keep a boring journal full of angst and children. My best friend is Coconuthead" who talked about the things you wrote so much that I added you and yes, I lurk. But I also follow directions!

I also know beelavendar and streetdreams and about 10 other people on your list.

I enjoy reading your writing.
