Congrats on the book! I can't wait to read it.

Please let me know your travel schedule, so that we can set up a school thing. Also, there's a GREAT independent kid's bookstore here that has a lot of kids who are big fans of yours (I know because I did a day at one of their comic camps, and your name came up as one of the favorites), so if you're looking for a place to do a signing, it'd be a good one.

Those kids are hella lucky. ^^ Also, as long as you don't have to commute in traffic, cars are AWESOME.

There is always traffic in NYC, no matter how you slice it. It's one of the reasons most people don't own cars here. That, and our awesome public transportation! But Queens is a weird place--the subways service about 5% of it. You can get around by bus, but it takes forever and is confusing! Especially 'cause I'm always going somewhere different. But you budget for time in traffic, and it's not too big a deal. I'm excited to have wheels again, I LOVE driving so much.

Now that you have a car, can you give me a ride to the water slides?

Read the new book on the train last night. It was fantastic! I think the fact that you have some distance from the X-Men allowed for some great new dynamics, and really gave a new breath into the X-Men. Also, those were the prettiest X-Men I've ever seen.
