Dave and I are both hard at work these days, and as a result our living room and computer nook are a disaster of paper, post-its, print-outs, and other comics-related miscellany. Can anyone be super busy and tidy at the same time? If so, you have my respect.

No kidding. Any time I'm hard at work on something it grows all over whatever space I'm in. Last SPX I returned to an apartment littered with bristol board, ink, and bits of potato.

Oh, man. I wish! Do your dishes tend to pile up, too?

Actually they don't! We tend to clean up immediately after meals, and having a dishwasher REALLY helps!

There are usually a couple of glasses or forks in the sink at any given time, but not much more than that. It's an NYC thing, I think--the more stuff you leave out, the more likely your chances of critters invading the kitchen. Ew.

Ew, totally right. I'm in Tucson, and the worst we've had that showed up randomly in the sink was a praying mantis. That was actually kind of funny...

Yeah, I can get pretty messy, but as you can imagine Abby doesn't allow things to get to bad, so the house is ok, but my studio has seen better days. I think I'll clean today actually...

My kitchen becomes a laboratory when I get too caught up in projects. I am flying out to Ireland with my girlfriend in a couple of weeks so I am making clean-up in my apartment a priority this week!

I have yet to see the organized, tidy production engine, especially around Cons. It's like when the captain tells you to toss out crap that you don't need so the plane/helicopter/ship/train can go faster or farther. Sometimes it's laundry, dishes, or children.
I mean vacuuming.
