I'm confused. Being a fundamentalist might help in the GOP primary, but it doesn't fly with most Dems, especially if the candidate seems like the sort of person who might try to force Christian values into the lawbooks. Also, when did we go to war with Spain? Aside from the 19th century, I mean.

I haven't been paying too much attention to Huckabee, so I may have missed something. But isn't he more pro-corporate responsibility rather than anti-business?

Anyone who is anti-evolution has no place in American government. I can appreciate a tolerance of other people's beliefs and all that but someone who chooses blatant ignorance of scientific fact really doesn't belong in charge of any country, let alone this one. Do you have any idea how bad it makes us look in the rest of the world when people from ANYWHERE BUT HERE realize that Americans still don't believe in evolution? It'd be like if we found out that Australians were still convinced that the world was flat or something. I know in the US it's "too much of a controversy" to be put in terms that clear, but for most people in the world, it really is that clear.
