I'm reading this book, "Love In The Asylum" by Lisa Carey. I like it so far, but there are no quotation marks for the dialog. Apparently this is not so unusual, but this could take some getting used to ^_-

Drawings/paintings I'm fine with. It's covers that look like stock photos, models or something that I could do without. There are always exceptions. But sometimes I'll read a book and have a certain person, a certain actor in mind for it, but I'll look at the cover and be like, no! That's not who I envision that character to look like. lol.

I hate stock photos. They never make for interesting covers. They rarely have anything to do with the book at all. I always think, "it'll be different, something will come up," and it never does.
