Freaking Nemo

27.5 inches of snow. Drifts up to my waist to shovel through. Always fun times with LI weather. Parents called from Georgia since LI made the news nationally with all the snow. No power lost, thankfully, plus I have gas heat and a gas stove, so I can be warm and cook even with no power

Wow! I've heard the moaning on facebook, and that is a huge dump! It might be fun if it wasn't for having to use a car, I'd imagine. :)

How cold is it? No danger of freezing pipes if power goes out, I hope? That's always my worry. (That and I've used up my inside wood, so don't have an access if a power failure knocks out my electric heat. *sigh* I gotta dig out my damn woodpile.)

Glad you're safe. We only got about 15" of snow, but we lost the power for about 22 hours.
It's back on thank goodness.

Now we just have to shovel...
