Apparently I act older. :-) Not sure what that says, but whatever. :-)
I think it has a lot to do with the fact that she has (just slightly) a little more of the 'little sister with no fear' vibe. You're slightly more guarded and careful. Slightly, but it's there. It might be something you picked up in law-school. I don't know. Or perhaps you absorbed a hint of British reserve during your time there. It's hard to say.
And maybe it helped that I met you online, first, so while intellectually I knew you had a twin, there wasn't the same sense as when the two of you are physically present ( ... )

I mean I remember vividly my grandfather half joking when he told me to obey my elders and he was talking of Twin... my immediate response was, "she's 2 minutes older, whatever!"
But it is definitely almost always the first question people ask when you say you are a twin.

But actually, he's a lot like me - not particularly close to his brother. So the assumption that twins = close relationship is definitely not always true!

Mostly, because there is a different bond, although I don't know why sharing the same exact DNA makes a difference.
But it is quite unfair to cast the net that all twins, identical or not, are extremely close.
